A question from a reader:
I have bought your book "The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay" and
"Turn Auction Traffic Into Cash" - these are the greatest books and
resources around. I'm also a fan of your informative newsletter and now your
blog.
However here is my problem, I am a big procrastinator, I seem to always look
for ways of putting off getting started, fear of failure I think.
I know that you had dedicated a newsletter article about procrastination
however I'll be darned if I can find it, was hoping to re read for some
inspiration.
I'm wondering if you are able to link me up with that article?

Information overload is
likely at the root of your problem.
If you aren't seeing results on the Internet yet it's likely that you are
still trying to figure out "what really works" like so many others.
You may even be listening to people that have never had success on the
Internet themselves (except selling "how to" information).
Or how about this one...
I've been guilty at times of taking on too many Internet projects and not
giving any of the projects on my plate adequate attention.
I got an email from a reader of this newsletter. He's finally seeing steady
progress and income every week and he had this to say,
"...(your book at) SilentSalesMachine.com is far and away the best
starting point for someone who is lost and jumping around the internet
trying to make money..."
I couldn't have said it better myself. I wrote that book specifically for
that reason.
After struggling with other ideas he said he found my book, applied the
ideas, and is now brining in several hundred per week and growing.
Do you need my book to make money on the Internet? Of course not - I'm not
saying that!
There is ONE BIG REASON that you will likely struggle with nearly any other
Internet bizop as your starting point though. The fact is that no matter
what approach you take to Internet success you need one thing...
That one thing is ***TRAFFIC***.
You can't make a dime with a gorgeous website if you don't have traffic.
The opposite is also true...
You can make a bunch of dough with an awful concept if you have a lot of
traffic.
Where can you find almost guaranteed traffic that will allow you to test
unlimited ideas at a nominal cost?
EBay.com - that's where! That's why I think you should start right there.
There has never been a lower risk business with insanely low barriers to
entry and amazing upside potential than eBay. Hundreds of thousands of
people are making a living using eBay - I'm sure many of them aren't nearly
as smart as you are. Get going!
Put some creativity into an eBay biz and watch your success take root.

2. Buying inventory in bulk isn't complicated!

Do you often wonder where all those successful eBay sellers get their
inventory?
Many of them buy inventory in bulk and it's not that complicated or risky to
do the same thing yourself...if you know the correct strategy.
To help those that are considering investing (as little as $100) in
some inventory to sell on eBay I've just scheduled an interview with the CEO
of one of the top companies in the surplus inventory business. They deal a
lot in customer returns and overstock. They have a bigger than 60,000 square
foot facility FULL of inventory that they will sell to eBay sellers.
The CEO of the company has agreed to let me ask him some tough questions. I
told him this isn't a "press release" type interview - this is going to be
in depth and only made available to my most loyal customers.
For example - one of the questions I'm going to ask him is, "If your mom
wanted to start selling on eBay and asked you what inventory she should buy
from you what would you tell her?"
