I love finding good examples for you of successful sellers on eBay who have carved out a COMPETITION PROOF niche market for themselves. There are THOUSANDS of possibilities and I want to show you another one I've just found...

Thanks to a recent comment left on my blog I investigated an eBay seller in the "cowboy" niche market.

Here's a screen shot of some of his recent auctions and the profits he's made:

Many of the items he's selling are simple DVD projects that could be done easily by just about anyone. The profit margin is astounding, and he's building a great niche business.

There are several things this seller could be doing differently to DRAMATICALLY ramp up profits and lower his time commitment and risks, but overall it's a good business they have carved out.

Thanks to MySilentTeam.com come member "ShelbyC" for pointing out this cool trick.

Without violating eBay policy you can drive some good targeted traffic to your website with a simple YouTube/eBay strategy.

Here's how it works step by step:

 o Create and upload a promo video to youtube.com
 o Insert the URL for your vid into an eBay auction, but don't embed
    your video in the auction. In other words visitors will go to your
    youtube.com account to view the video instead of seeing it on
    your auction page.
 o In the description of your video on youtube.com make the FIRST
    words in your description a your web address. Be sure to use
    "http://www" and the link will be CLICKABLE.
 o Bonus tip: Name your youtube account after your website for
    additional exposure (i.e. make your log in name "MyWebSite.com"
    on Youtube)
